About the Author-
Duff Goldman is a baker/pastry chef and television personality, who premiered on The Food Network in the reality show Ace of Cakes, which followed the day-to-day life of his bakery, Charm City Cakes. He is currently the host of the shows Kids Baking Championship and Duff Takes the Cake anda judge on Holiday Baking Championship and Spring Baking Championship.

Gr 4-8-Many kids enjoy baking and need a quality cookbook to get them started. Celebrity chef and Food Network star Goldman provides kid-friendly tips and kitchen fundamentals, along with an assortment of scrumptious recipes. This eye-catching cookbook will appeal to budding cooks. Pops of color bring the pages to life. Additionally, it could be an ideal starting point for kids who are new to baking. The text describes the preparation, safety tips, and different techniques often used in baking. Kids will be equipped with solid knowledge before they even turn on the oven. Young bakers have a plethora of tantalizing recipes to try. There are chapters on cookies, cupcakes, doughnuts, and more. More advanced recipes are included for those seeking a challenge. Most recipes are accompanied by pictures of each step, which will appeal to visual learners. A glossary and measurement conversions are included.
